The Foundations mission is to help children in severe distress. When the Foundation was formed four years ago, Karen and Jamie funded its start. Today, this effort has grown to raising $3 million a year, which provides over a $1 million in grants to over 40 agencies. The Foundation believes that we all have time, talent and treasure to give back and its sponsors various special events in partnership with a number of corporations. There are many opportunities to get involved with the Moyer Foundation as a volunteer, said Pollock. Camp Erin, a bereavement camp for kids, is expanding its services to new places throughout the country. Were a lean organization with only four staff members. We rely on lots of in-kind donations and financial contributions. As the motto goes, helping, one day at a time, The Moyer Foundation in action. |
