Friday Potpourri

FriPotIn the absence of vacationing President Norm Johnson, Past President Kim Shrader took over the helm and steered the ship successfully through the shoals. Kim introduced Colly Radford who rendered the invocation and led the pledge to the flag; and Peter Stadelman, who greeted two Rotarians from the Bellevue club, Mike Hendrickson and Bob Wallace.

Also introduced were two former BBRC members. Hans Giner, who left the club back in 1997 as his work took him to other places in the world, has returned to the Seattle area. And, Bill Guinn renewed old acquaintances with a surprise visit.

Dick Brown reported that Don Deasy journeyed to South Bend for the Husky game. Sorry about the outcome, Don!
