Halloween Costume Contest
Resplendent in a most varied display of costumery, the BBRC membership went all out to celebrate Halloween. With Sergeant At Arms Mary “Ma” Bell orchestrating the festivities, a system of elimination of candidates resulted in the winners, based on crowd appreciation. Phil the Phlasher (Salvatori) walked off with top prize, followed by Dick Clarke in second place and Howard Johnson in third. Each received a prize.
At the end of that shtick, the Lingenbum showed up and wooed Mary back to the bridge under the freeway with the lure of something in a brown paper bag. Yeccchhh!
