Classification Talk: David Bolson
David Bolson, telling the membership what he reall, really wanted to do.

David Bolson, classification “Financial Advisor,” gave his ice-breaker about himself. He opened by thanking his sponsor, Rick Klobucher, for inviting him to join Rotary.
David is an Indiana native, who moved to Washington in time to enroll at the UW. After chasing a business degree, David entered banking. After a fling in that business, he decided that being a financial advisor is what he really wanted and what he really, really wanted was to “help people.” He checked out one of the leading brokerage firms, and when they asked him why he wanted to work there, he gave the wrong answer. He was supposed to say, “Just make money and help people along the way.” So, he tried another firm, who wanted to hear the same answer to the same question. He found himself trying again, at Morgan Stanley brokerage firm, where they “liked my answer — that I wanted to help people.”
So, that’s where David works, at the firm in Bellevue, and he really does like helping people! He’s right at home at the BBRC and in Rotary, and we’re proud to welcome David Bolson into the fold.
