Golf Outing Update

Call for Auction Items

Rick McManus has claimed responsibility for the live auction that will augment support for the annual Golf Outing. The auction is set for Friday, June 13 – a very lucky day for bidding Rotarians! Don Deasy will handle the auction, and Rick is looking for items that are not necessarily golf-oriented. Perhaps you have an interesting item that has value but you no longer need, or you have a surplus time share that needs some occupants. This is an important activity to help the entire Raffle enterprise be successful. If you have items you’d like auctioned, please email Rick. The Committee is seeking items that would net approximately $500 each, or a combination of items that would net $500. You can also reach Rick by calling 425-702-8738. Thanks!

Ederer Needs Help

    Ted Ederer
Fashion plate Ted Ederer drums up some golf help.

Ted Ederer is in charge of the actual Golf Outing on July 11. That’s when more than 100 duffers will address the ball at the Mt. Si Golf Course. Ted needs some more worker bees to help with registration and assisting with watching for holes-in-one, along with other important duties. Check with Ted; let him if know you’re available. You’ll get a make-up for helping out. Paul Martin and Ted modeled the new golf shirts to be offered to each participant this year. Pretty spiffy! Ted said they’re lined, but he didn’t say with what. Support your Golf Committee by signing up to compete or to help. Doesn’t matter, so long as you’re there, supporting the BBRC and Rotary!
