Classification Talk: Polly Stansell

Polly Stansell
Polly Stansell

Polly was born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, the seventh of eight children. She met her husband, Joe, during her first quarter of college at the U of I. They were married in her junior year, whereupon they moved to San Diego, so that Joe could attend law school.

Missing the Pacific Northwest, they returned to Seattle. Joe is now employed by a downtown Seattle law firm, and Polly works for a Bellevue-based education software company.

They have two children, Will and Sam, and Polly likes the fact that they are close enough to her extended family in Northern Idaho to visit easily, but far enough away to make visits enjoyable.

Given the fact that Polly had no notice that she would be asked to deliver her classification talk today, and given her self-proclaimed goal of besting Daniel Feussner, who recently gave his classification talk, Polly did an exceptionally fine job of delivering hers.
