World Community Service Project

Mike Hyodo, WCS Committee Chairperson, reminded members about the project set for next month in Perm, Russia. The project is being led by BBRC members Mike Hyodo and Steve Lingenbrink as part of the BBRC’s International Avenue of Service.

The task is to build a dental clinic and cyber café at an orphanage in Perm. While there, aid in the form of food and clothing will be offered to the poor, the widows and orphans of the area. Members are asked to donate new clothing and non-perishable food. Dental equipment was previously acquired and all of this will be loaded aboard a container on Friday, February 1, at the Shurgard Self-Storage facility at Northup Way and 124th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Bring your non-perishable food donations to the club meeting on Friday, February 1. Donations will also be accepted this Friday, January 25.

If you have questions about this project or how you can help, contact Mike Hyodo (PH 425-827-8398) or Steve Lingenbrink (PH 425-637-1300.
