Choices Program Update

Wendi Fischer gave a show-and-tell description of one part of the Choices Program. A team of three volunteers helped her describe the “Get Your Education” part of the program given to Bellevue School District Seventh graders.
Volunteers were Doug Cameron, who played the college grad; Alex Rule, the high school grad; and Bruce Walker, the high school dropout. Wendi took the trio through different available jobs to see who is qualified for those jobs. The idea is that the more education you have, the more options (choices) you have. Teachers, administrators, and Rotarians all agree that Choices is making an impact on the youngsters. This is the third year the BBRC has participated in the Choices Program.
