Sergeant At Arms Jay Powers was busy this week fining the unsuspecting. Poor Earl Falk was fined for marrying a woman who has a twin. The twins, it seems, were featured prominently in an article in the Mercer Island newspaper on twins, in connection with a current exhibition at the Bellevue Art Museum.
With Norm Johnson’s able assistance, the Sergeant at Arms then fined everyone $2.00 who was not present at the mass make-up at the Fremont Rotary Club, in an attempt to recoup the $100.00 wager which was lost to the Fremont Club last week. Although, there isn’t much to recoup, since the Fremont Club used the $100 to buy 50 BBRC raffle tickets! What goes around comes around – all in the name of Rotary!
