After the opening bell by President Kopczynski, Terry Gotham was called upon to render the invocation and the flag salute. Chris Ballard
greeted five visiting Rotarians and a number of guests of Rotarians.
The President thought it good to start out his term with a song or two. With Jay Powers
at the piano, the group robustly sang “Zippity-Do-Dah,” followed by a roll call of members having July birthdays. The birthday folks are:

Jay Powers put in a pitch for members being on the lookout for potential new members. “Use the Blue Card system, which puts the Membership Committee on notice that
this is a person of interest. The Blue Card is also a free breakfast for the visitor. We are expecting a 5% growth this year to keep pace with our
experience of losing membership at that rate. This is everybody’s job … to keep building our club with new, quality members.” So sayeth Jay Powers.
PLEASE NOTE: The Fellowship Committee will meet this Friday, immediately following the regular meeting.
