Lorraine Gunderson got the meeting rolling with an invocation, and “Officer” Brian (Chris) Ballard introduced four visiting Rotarians and four guests, including Vitaly Volchkov
from the Rossica Club of Moscow Russia.
Robin Anderson, Co-Chair of the Russian Connections Committee for District 5030, is working with Vitaly on an international Rotary project “The TRAIN –
Rotarians Across Russia,” scheduled for May-June 2001. The project, designed to promote peace and understanding, will be the subject of a
