Twenty new units of transitional housing, supporting homeless families, and the Adelle Maxwell Child Care Center will be officially opened and dedicated on Wednesday, May 31, at the site in Bellevue.
Shelley Noble, Director of Family Development for Hopelink, invited all BBRC Rotarians to attend afternoon tours and the dedication ceremony at 6:30 that evening. Tours begin at 3:00 p.m.
The projects, which got underway nearly two years ago, adds to the capabilities of Hopelink. In addition to the five food banks and emergency service centers in Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Northshore,
and Sno-Valley; an emergency family shelter in Kenmore; 12 transitional housing units in Redmond; and the Family Development Program and the Transportation Division in the new Bellevue office, Hopelink
proudly unveils its latest project, which combines 20 new transitional housing units with the Adelle Maxwell Child Care Center. Attendees are asked to help furnish Hopelink Place by bringing any of the
following new items: towels and linens; kitchen items; nonperishable food; and baby items.
A shuttle service will provide transportation to the dedication and tour site. Those attending are asked to park in the Pilgrim Lutheran Church parking lot at S.E. 10th & Bellevue Way. From there,
shuttles will take passengers to the new Hopelink site.
