The Seattle Kraken are the new expansion team in the National Hockey League! We will spend the time today learning about and discussing the birth of the Seattle Kraken – from the decision to entirely re-build the (former Key) Arena, to the expansion process, the growth of the franchise including sponsorships, the naming of the team, the General Manager, the Kraken Training Center, and the road towards puck drop in October.
About the Speaker
Todd is the SVP, Digital Fan Experience and Kraken Training Center for the Seattle Kraken. He is responsible for the Kraken Mobile App, and also oversees the new Kraken Training Center. He joined the team full time in February 2019, but has been actively working on the project since 2016. He is a Canadian who has lived in Seattle since 2000, and is a former professional hockey player and tech entrepreneur, and the proud Dad to two daughters.
