Can arts change our communities like they change our lives?

As we grapple with the ongoing impacts of the global pandemic,  ArtsFund joins us to share pivotal research from their pioneering Social Impact of the Arts Study, and to discuss how we can engage the arts to strengthen and re-build our region in fields such as youth development and education, health and wellness, neighborhood vitality, and more. Sarah Sidman, ArtsFund’s VP of Strategic Initiatives & Communications, will identify ways to activate the findings from this new wave of research, framing a deeper understanding of the public value of the arts in our evolving and recovering community.  In addition, she will share data from ArtsFund’s 2020 quarterly sector snapshots, tracking the impacts of the pandemic on cultural nonprofits in the Central Puget Sound , and how these organizations have responded to adapt and deliver programming during this critical time.
