Returning from a brief vacation, President Norm Johnson thanked Kim Shrader for his stand-in duties the week before. Norm introduced Michael McIntosh who gave the invocation and led the pledge to the flag. Curt Cummings greeted visiting Rotarian Kemper Freeman and former BBRC member Hans Giner.

Ernie Hayden was recognized for his return after a 3-month, well-earned leave. Later, Steve Lingenbrink gave Ernie a nice homecoming.

SAA Jenny extracted $2.00 from John Martinka, received a late payment of $5.00 and $2.00 from Rourke O’Brien and received $3.00 from Alan Bohling who bragged about his new sales facility now open.

Jim Gordon announced that the USO will sponsor its annual Fundraising Gala on November 4. It will be an ‘old-time USO show’ with lots of special entertainment. Contact Jim if you’d like to know more.

Norm mentioned his vacation took him to the Oregon Coast, where they stopped in at Stewart Martin’s new Inn and Restaurant in Manzanita. The Bistro Manzanita is a new venture for the former BBRC member.

The Club Administrator told members the “Badge Box has been renumbered, reflecting the ebbs and flows, the comings and goings, the new and old changes in the membership. Make sure you get the right badge and you put yours back in its new slot.”
