Classification Talk: bill brooks

BrooksWilliam A “Bill” Brooks showed his BBRC moxie by invoking “The Alex Rule,” promising he’d be brief as he delivered his Classification Talk. Bill’s classification is “Financial Planner.”

Bill was born in Columbus, OH, attended the high school of golf legend Jack Nickalaus and was once run over by Archie Griffin during a football scrimmage. Of course, Bill attended The Ohio State University.

He married Brenda in 1998 and together they have 3-1/2 year old Garrett, “the center of my life!” The family is currently working to adopt another child.

Bill plays bass for the Gathering Place’s Worship Team, where he’s also involved in Bible Study. He’s been a Financial Advisor for some time, earning his CFP and working for Lincoln Financial Advisers in Kirkland. He specializes in work for small to mid-size businesses.

Bill recognized the need for becoming active in his community and Rotary was the vehicle he chose. He is excited to get better acquainted with “120 of my newest friends.”

Welcome, Bill Brooks! You’re a fine addition to the BBRC and you observed the “Alex Rule” beyond our wildest imagination(s)!
