Vocational Career Promotion Program

evelyn Cogswell
Evelyn Cogswell talks about the Vocational Career Promotion Program.

A new twist on the Sammamish High School Vocational Career Ppromotion Program was unveiled by Evelyn Cogswell. “The program is called ‘Career Café,’ where students who volunteer to learn more about specific vocations would have lunch in the career center and hear first hand from people in those professions. We are looking for volunteers to speak about your career to these Sammamish kids. It’s a 40-minute lunch, and the first Career Café is slated for Tuesday,  December 17. We’re looking for volunteers in technology fields for this first event. January 14 will highlight healthcare providers.”

A couple of members signed up Friday. If you’d like to take part in this program, contact Dale Hemphill.
