NoJo Discovers Lou in Palm Desert
by Roving Reporter Norm Johnson

While on vacation in Palm Desert, we went out to the Palm Springs airport on Sunday evening, February 17, to meet a friend arriving from Seattle on Alaska Airlines.

While checking the arrival board, Carolyn, spotted Lou and Marilyn Webb, who also were awaiting friends on the same flight. (Lou was the BBRC’s first President, 1985-87)

We had a nice chat and Lou, although he enjoys living in Colorado, misses the fellowship of the BBRC.  He mentioned that he still visits the BBRC website.

Lou continues to be active in Rotary and does make-ups in Palm Desert while wintering in the California desert.

Lou mentioned that the original reason they returned to Colorado was to be closer to their grandchildren, but as things turned out the kids and grandkids never made it to Colorado.

Lou sez, "Hi to all, and a special hello to Deasy."
