Accompanied by a magnificent sunrise embracing Mt. Si, the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club’s Fifth Annual Golf Outing played itself out at the Mount Si Golf and Country Club’s beautiful course between Snoqualmie and North Bend, with 135 golfers competing for top prizes during the five-hour event. Participants were heard to rave about the vistas, the weather, and the fellowship. Proceeds of the tourney go to defray costs of the upcoming BBRC Raffle.

After a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m., the foursomes wound their way between the pines and firs to rack up respectable scores. The Rotary Cup, first established three years ago, was captured by the visiting team from the Bellevue Downtown Rotary Club. Each player received a memento, and the Downtown Club will receive an engraved traveling trophy.

The Open Division featured competition among foursomes from the BBRC. Firing a 12 under 60 was the team headed by Paul Martin. Second place team was captained by Don Deasy, followed by the third place team ushered around by Robin Callan. Each received a trophy for their work.
