 Friday Potpourri

President John DeWater, back from attending the District Conference, opened the meeting by introducing Bob Moloney for the invocation. Bob and his fellow Rotarians prayed for a lot of things, especially for those Rotarians and American veterans whom we remember this Memorial Day. Bob also led the pledge to the flag.

Chris Ballard greeted four visiting Rotarians.

Phil Salvatori reminded everyone of the Rotating The Wheels Banquet, to be held this year at the General Petroleum Museum in Seattle, Friday evening, June 23. Cost is $30 per person for the 6:00 p.m. reception and 7:00 p.m. dinner. Dress is casual. This is a function you won’t want to miss! Invitations are in the mail.

Play Golf!
July 7, Mt. Si Golf Course

Emblazoned in the new 2000 Cutter & Buck golf shirts, the Golf Outing Committee came dressed to promote the BBRC’s Fifth Annual Outing July 7th. Paul Martin stressed that all teams put together by June 9 would be eligible for a long-drive contest, which would net the winner a round of golf for a foursome at the Glendale Country Club. Sign up your team online today and enter this great contest. Paul reported also that the Silent Auction items are the best ever. This auction will be conducted during the golf outing. Proceeds pay for all expenses of the annual raffle. More details on the golf outting.
