You may have heard about Puget Sound Energy’s plans to upgrade the existing electric transmission system serving customers on the Eastside. Join Andy Wappler, PSE’s Vice President of Corporate Affairs, for a discussion about this critical economic infrastructure project. Topics will include an overview of the project which will build 18 miles of new, higher capacity transmission lines between Redmond and Renton, why the project is necessary and important to PSE’s customers, and how you can get involved in the route selection discussion.

Andy Wappler is Vice President, Corporate Affairs for Puget Sound Energy. As head of Corporate Affairs, Wappler leads the company’s communications, community affairs, energy efficiency and products and services teams. He also is the Chairman and President of the Puget Sound
Energy Foundation.
Wappler has a Master of Science degree in Journalism from the Medill School at Northwestern University
and a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in English from the University of Washington.
He is married and has two children.
