Bellevue Breakfast Rotary is pleased to have DECA join us once again in person after having only virtual presentation for a couple of years. Today, Lori Hairston, the Executive Director of Washington DECA, will introduce 3 DECA presentations from:

Bellevue HS - Sophie Sajnani, Project Management Business Solutions
Interlake HS - Emily Chu, Business Services Operations Research Project
Newport - Shruthi Arunkumar in Project Management – Business Solutions

DECA is an association that encourages the development of business and leadership skills through academic conferences and competitions.
BBRC financial support is instrumental in supporting students from the (5) Bellevue high schools for the international competition.

About the Speaker

Lori Hairston is the Executive Director for Washington DECA. Lori is a strategic leader, with twenty-seven years of experience in education. Her professional experiences include 16 years in Retail Management with Lamont's, 11 years on the board of the Washington Association of Marketing Educators, and 9 years on the Washington DECA Board of Directors, including 6 as Board Chair. Lori holds an MBA in Management and Strategy.
