Dr. Patricia Townsend - Associate Professor / Environment and Community Outreach Specialist
Washington State University
Washington State is a leader on climate solutions in many ways. We have the Climate Commitment Act, a governor who is passionate about climate, and ample clean energy. Yet, our greenhouse gas emissions in Washington State have not started to decline. All of us and especially our front-line communities are vulnerable to the impacts. There are many actions that we can take every day to help our communities and increase resilience for current and future generations.
Martin Clavijo will introduce Dr. Townsend.
