Get YOUR message out!!

You’ll have noticed over the last month that club announcements are now being distributed over email, and posted on the web-site.  Following on from today’s theme set by our glorious SAA:

True or False? (there is a hint – see if you can spot it)

  1. Publishing announcements on our website is really difficult – only someone like your 12 yr old granddaughter would be capable of such a technical feat.
  2. To publish an announcement, you should send an email to Paul Osborn (along with an Imani payment of $10).
  3. You don’t need to put your announcement on the website.  Just announcing it at the meeting will get dozens of members responding immediately to whatever you ask for.
  4. The scribes who write up the meeting notes always get all the details precisely correct when they type up any announcement you make during the meeting.
  5. Anyone can create an announcement on the website, directly from the home page by:
    • Selecting a relevant committee or project from the dropdown
    • Entering the Title, and typing the announcement, and if you like, insert pictures and hyperlinks
    • There are additional ‘easy’ features:
      • Use the ‘Request Replies’ option to create a handy blue button on your announcement
      • Use the ‘Additional Call to Action’ option and a yellow button will take interested members to the relevant project/committee, or to another website of your choice
      • Use the “Announcement Expires on” date for when the announcement should no longer be displayed
