Classification Talk: Carlos Aragon Carlos Aragon is nearing completion of his requirements to earn the coveted Blue badge. Part of the exercise is giving a Classification Talk. Carlos told his audience he was a Seattle native, attending Seattle Prep, where he participated in soccer, football and baseball. After high school graduation, he moved on to the University of Washington, where I had a lot of fun! He gave some thought to majoring in engineering, but math and science werent my strong suits. So, what to do? "I enrolled in business, with an interest in human resource and marketing issues. Carlos took several trips abroad and thought he might make his lifes work in international business. After college, he worked for the Seattle Times for a year in reception and sales. I applied for a job with Hebert Research as an analyst. Hes been promoted to Director of Analytical Research, where his job is to coordinate and manage all of the projects underway at Hebert. Carlos comes to the BBRC with a rich background in Rotary and joins a new generation that will surely lead the club in the future. By the way, his classification is Market Research. |
