We are reminded of these both from daily news items as well as long lead times for delivery, scarce items and empty shelves at the venders we order from and stores we visit. Steve Rothberg, a veteran logistics executive will focus on the pressures on supply chains for US importers and exporters that are resulting from inefficiencies and capacity shortages in US and foreign ports, US rail lines and terminals, and port-proximate road infrastructure.
