Congregations for the Homeless (CFH)
In partnership with the City of Bellevue, King County, and many others, CFH is moving forward on building the first-ever permanent shelter and day center with supportive services for men experiencing homelessness in East King County. Come learn more about the shelter project, and the unique partnership that will bring much-needed affordable housing to the Eastside as well.
David Bowling currently is the Executive Director of CFH, with over 20 years of experience working in social and family services, including 16 years with CFH. He received a BA in Psychology from the University of Washington and a MA in Counseling and Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. Prior to this role, David served as CFH’s Director of Shelter Services for nine years, which included overseeing and supervising agency shelter programs and creating several new programs over the years. David is an alumni of Leadership Eastside and serves on the board of the Alliance of Eastside Agencies. He has lived and worked in East King County since 2005 and is committed to helping to create a community where everyone can thrive and live into their best potential.
