In the last grant cycle, Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club partnered with PNW Partners for Work Rotary Club to support students with intellectual disabilities in the Bellevue School District, making a difference for local students leaving school. About the Speaker
Ivanova Smith is a leader of Washington’s self-advocacy movement as a member of People First of Washington and the faculty of the UW LEND program in Seattle. Ivanova was employed as an activist advocate for Atwork!, where they advocate for employment equality for people with disabilities. Just last month, Ivanova accepted a position with the Washington State Developmental Disabilities Administration as their Community Collaboration Manager. Ivanova lives in Tacoma, is happily married to Ian Smith and parent to little girls, Alexandra and Hildegard.
