Marcee will discuss the services that the Kindering Center provides for parents and children in diagnosing Autism and assisting them in navigating their way into the future. It is a challenging journey and requires special people to help in both the diagnosis as well as ongoing services and support! This morning, we have one of those special people, Marcee Merriam, to explain that journey!
About the Speaker
Marcee assists families for Autism diagnosis as well as therapies and support groups following a diagnosis. Having raised her son with Autism in Snohomish County, she now resides in Pierce County and is enjoying becoming acquainted with her new community.
Marcee is also involved with statewide committees as her passion lies in helping others build inclusive communities where children can share their unique gifts and talents. She has collaborated closely with providers in Eastern Washington and the Puget Sound area and had the privilege of working with the Latino and Asian communities to enhance access to Autism diagnosis and support services.
