Lorna Day - Founder, Executive Director

Sam Day Foundation Lorna believes that hope is essential for making a positive difference in the world, and a worthy companion for living through suffering and loss. She will share the story of her son’s struggle with cancer and how she has found purpose after losing him at age 15. Lorna will discuss the current realities of childhood cancer treatment and research, and how her organization is focused on developing more effective and less toxic treatments for kids with the most destructive cancers.
