Student of the Month Kate Massingill
|
Kate Massingill, a senior at Sammamish High, was introduced as the April Student of the Month. Presenter Bob Holert reported that Kate was an “excellent student, a standout in band, copping the “Best Attitude Award,” an award winner on the swim team, and provided leadership at school and church.” Kate responded by saying, “It’s a great honor for me to be here. My different volunteer activities through my church have meant a lot to me. I’ve enjoyed my volunteer work at the Seattle Aquarium where I’ve helped to interpret displays for those visiting the aquarium. I plan to enroll at the UW in the fall and major in Biology.”
