Fellowship Calendar
Peter Powell gave a heads-up for future special dates. Because of a conflict at Glendale on Friday, May 16, the BBRC will have an off-site meeting at Sammamish High School. Once a year, the Club plans a visit to the public high school the BBRC works most closely with during the year. Members will officially meet new principal Spencer Welch, who has taken the reins from BBRC member Evelyn Cogswell. Breakfast is served at 7:00 AM in the cafeteria at Sammamish High School on Friday, May 16.
With the success of last year’s “Invasion of Leavenworth,” the Fellowship Committee has arranged for another soiree to the Eastern slopes of the Cascades ,for an evening of fellowship with the Leavenworth Rotary Club on Friday, June 13. The event will included a stay-over Friday night with a leisurely “morning after” and the obligatory shopping stroll down Leavenworth’s Main Street.
It’s not too early to make your reservations, according to Leavenworth Rotarian (and former BBRC member) Tony Banks. There are three hotels owned by Leavenworth Rotarians, and they are offering a discount for those BBRC members involved in this exchange:
