Senior Courtney Buccola, daughter of Debbie and John Buccola, is winding down her high school career at Eastside Catholic. In addition to her folks attending Friday’s program, she was also accompanied by M.J. Hillstrom, counselor at ECHS. Courtney was introduced by Larry May.
Courtney’s outstanding academic achievement and community involvement sets her apart. She has served as a counselor and mentor at Washington Special Olympics, she is an Elector of her church, and she has performed as a kids’ camp counselor. “I do community service because I like to,” Courtney said.
She plans to enter Seattle Central Community College in the fall, with decisions for continuing to be made later.
