Sergeant At Arms Cleans Up
John Martinka had a particularly lucrative stint as SAA Friday. He hawked Rotary pins and fined those not wearing pins $2.00.
Larry May #1 has returned from a 9-month leave. He was fined for wearing “that obnoxious outfit while cheering on his beloved Oklahoma Sooners. Larry paid nine bucks for bragging, and one for whining.

Martinka then introduced a new feature called “Get to Know Your Sergeant At Arms.” John claimed to have had several injuries over the year. “I have had broken bones and surgeries. It’s up to you to determine which of these I did not have:
With members holding on to the part of the body mentioned by John, those who failed to hang on to their “shoulder” paid $1.00 to the SAA’s pot. Problem is, at the end of the meeting, there was $124.96 lying on the tables. Mr. Martinka walked out without his booty. Does that mean he owes a like amount the next time we meet? What happened to the $124.96, and who put the 96 cents in the pot?
