Not much time remains for members to get a discount by signing up for Rotary District 5030’s annual conference, this year set for Victoria, B.C. The dates are April 25-27 in the intriguing Canadian city. Steve Goldfarb, speaking on behalf of the Conference Committee, urged members to act before January 1 to receive the discount. “It’s been said dozens of times over the years that you really don’t appreciate what Rotary is and does until you attend a District Conference. Here’s your chance.” Contact Goldfarb by email for more information, or go to the District Website, where all of the registration material is posted. “The District Conference is lots of fun and you’ll learn more than you could ever guess about what Rotary is all about at the district level,” Goldfarb concluded. The BBRC’s Sharon Edberg is this year’s chairperson of the entire conference. Both Susan Harrison and Norm Johnson are also involved – Susan, for decorations, and Norm, in charge of Rotary sessions.
