Raffle is History
Turning in the tickets.

Although all of the sales are yet to be turned in, Kevin Jewell, Raffle Financial Officer, reports the total tickets sales compiled Friday morning was $101,442. For the third year in a row, the raffle amount has topped $100,000.
Raffle Chairperson Brian Evison praised Club members, saying that “this year’s raffle was completed in adverse conditions, what with the sagging economy. We should all be proud of our work.” Brian reminded everyone that the next-to-final activity is the annual Ticket-Tearing Party THIS THURSDAY at Wayne McCaulley’s office, 10900 NE 8th, Suite 1101. The Party begins at 5:30 p.m., with pizza and refreshments provided. All of the thousands of tickets must be separated that evening in order for the winners to be drawn the next day, November 8, at the public drawing, 1:30 p.m. at Roberts Trane, 2021 152nd Ave NE in Redmond.
As a parting shot, Kevin said that any unsold tickets and raffle proceeds need to be delivered to him by Thursday noon. The final accounting of all the Raffle activities, including the Annual Golf Outing should provide a higher total, predicted Jewell.
The Final Big Event of the Raffle Season will be the annual Anniversary Dinner, slated for the Harbor Club, in the Rainier Tower, downtown Bellevue, on Friday, November 15.
The program will commemorate the Club’s 17th anniversary and will feature announcement of the winners of the annual raffle. Members should contact Peter Powell for details about this function. There will be NO regular meeting Friday morning, November 15.
