The YMCAs of the Eastside sponsor Healthy Kids Day, an activity event coinciding with the YMCA’s 125th Anniversary celebration on
Saturday, April 28, at three YMCA locations throughout the Eastside. Rotarian Scott Sadler announced the schedule.
“It’s a three-hour celebration that, beginning at 11:00 a.m. this Saturday and continuing until 2:00 p.m. The purpose is to promote
healthy lifestyles for youngsters and their families.”
All Eastside YMCA locations are participating:

Activities include: climbing wall, kids gym, bicycle safety, face painting, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, moonwalk, fitness testing,
birthday cake for everyone, live music, pool safety, hiking safety, nutritional information, family relay races, and scavenger hunt (activities vary at each location).
Scott concluded that “the anniversary celebration is a great opportunity to play and learn with your children or grandchildren!”
