The five members of the GSE Team from District 3340 of east and northeast Thailand were warmly welcomed for the team’s annual visit to
the BBRC. Led by their team leader, Prasart Euprasert, the four non-Rotarians showed slides of their homeland and answered questions from an exploring audience.
Kevin Jewell, BBRC International Director, introduced the team. Kevin singled out Wally Mahoney for his and Bernadette
’s hosting two of the team and taking lots of pictures. Norris Bevan, “the Father of the BBRC,” was applauded for his chauffeuring of the team during their first week’s stay, following their
arrival on April 6.

During their first week, the team was hosted by Rotarians in their vocations. Their sightseeing took them to Bellevue’s
Doll Museum, Microsoft, and Snoqualmie Falls. At the meeting’s end, President Cary gave each team member a beautiful gift of the “State of Washington” books and official Seattle
Mariner baseball caps. The GSE Team will join several hundred Rotarians from District 5030 for the annual District Conference in Vancouver, B.C., next weekend.
