To Tell The Truth – Sergeant At Arms Caper

In keeping with his aim to harass as many members as possible, Sergeant At Arms Rourke O’Brien fined Paul Martin $5.00 for being late for his Greeter’s assignment and had Joseph Brazen give an update on the proposed sale of Wally Mahoney’s house. Didn’t see a fine go by on that one.

Then, Judge Jenny Andrews stepped up to play “To Tell the Truth.” You know how the game is played. Jenny tells you four things that have happened in her life, three of which are true, the fourth is false. Members vote by table to determine which answer they think is false. The tables who correctly identify the wrong answer pay nothing; the rest pay a buck a person.

Here is Jenny’s foursome:

  1. I was once caught in the middle of a police shootout in Phoenix.
  2. I was my high school’s Homecoming Queen.
  3. My first job was teaching anatomy and physiology.
  4. I came down with Salmonella poisoning while rock climbing in Oregon.

If you guessed #2 as the incorrect answer, you’re right. Strangely enough, six tables were right, so five tables supported the work of O’Brien’s Marauders.
