Come learn more about the direct impact that grant had on students in your community! Additionally hear Ivanova Smith\, PNW Partners for Work Sargeant at Arms\, share her incredible personal testimony as a person growing up with disabilities. \nAbout the Speaker\nIvanova Smith is a leader of Washington’s self-advocacy movement as a member of People First of Washington and the faculty of the UW LEND program in Seattle. Ivanova was employed as an activist advocate for Atwork!\, where they advocate for employment equality for people with disabilities. Just last month\, Ivanova accepted a position with the Washington State Developmental Disabilities Administration as their Community Collaboration Manager. Ivanova lives in Tacoma\, is happily married to Ian Smith and parent to little girls\, Alexandra and Hildegard. \nHeather Evans (she/her) is PNW Partners for Work Club President and Technical Assistance and Training Manager for the national training organization Wise. Wise promotes equitable employment for people with disabilities through innovation\, training and technical assistance.
