He replaced Bob Rondeau\, a legend in Husky broadcasting\, who retired at the end of the 2017 football season after 33 years. Tony is the play-by-play announcer for Washington Huskies football and men’s basketball\, host of coaches shows and the GoHuskies Podcast and Director of Broadcasting. Tony Castricone just completed his fifth year as the voice of the Huskies for Washington football. He previously was the voice of Clemson basketball. He has worked with IMG since 2010.\nTony is a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. Tony and his wife Selena have one son.

It saves natural resources. Less waste means less plastic pollution and fewer toxic chemicals in our environment. Zero Waste Washington seeks to make systematic changes that have lasting impact. This means they work on laws and programmatic changes rather than focusing on individual behavior change. \nAbout the Speaker\nHeather Trim\, Executive Director\, joined Zero Waste Washington in 2016. Prior to Zero Waste Washington\, Heather has been active in zero waste issues\, including helping lead the Seattle bag campaign and helping get the ban on styrofoam / service ware products passed. Previously\, Heather was Director of Science and Policy at Futurewise\, focusing on habitat\, shoreline\, stormwater and other issues related to land use. Before that\, she worked on similar issues\, including toxic pollution and plastics. Heather earned a BS in geology from Yale University and a PhD from UCLA in geochemistry.

He has served as PSE’s Director of Community and Business Services for King County.  Will also spent two years as Manager of PSE’s emerging technology and climate change program where he oversaw PSE’s electric vehicle program\, analysis of greenhouse gas regulatory programs\, and PSE’s participation in the renewable energy\nEarlier\, Will worked as a Manager in PSE’s Federal Government Relations group for eight years and has more than 15 years of experience working in Washington State politics. DESCRIPTION:Michael Greer – President & CEO\nArtsFund\nMichael Greer\, President and CEO of ArtsFund\, will give a brief overview of the state of the arts and culture sector today. The presentation will pull from data collected in ArtsFund’s Covid Cultural Impact Study and focus on recommendations for supporting the sector\, including observations on the current challenges and opportunities for arts and cultural organizations in the region. (vis Zoom) \nAbout the Speaker\nMichael Greer is the President and CEO at ArtsFund\, a Seattle-based arts nonprofit whose mission it is to support the arts through leadership\, advocacy\, and grantmaking\, in order to build a healthy\, equitable\, and creative Washington. As the leader of one of the country’s largest united arts funds\, Michael oversees the distribution of millions of dollars of unrestricted funding\, along with the implementation of capacity building programs and state-wide advocacy on behalf of the creative sector.\nA native of St. Charles\, MO\, Michael began his career in the arts as a professional ballet dancer. A graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy (’95)\, he went on to train at some of the world’s most recognizable ballet institutions including School of American Ballet\, The Royal Ballet School\, San Francisco Ballet School and others. He joined Ballet West in Salt Lake City\, under the artistic direction of Jonas Käge and executive leadership of Jóhann Jacobs. As the first African-American dancer employed at the organization\, Michael spent six seasons dancing lead roles in productions as varied as classics such as “The Nutcracker” and “The Sleeping Beauty”\, to contemporary masterworks by Christopher Bruce\, William Forsythe\, and others.\nUpon retirement from his performance career\, Michael continued his educational pursuits and obtained his B.A. in economics and mathematics from Hampshire College\, M.Ed. in International Education and Policy Leadership from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign\, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School with a focus in management. During his academic career\, he was also fortunate to be named a Gilman Scholar by the U.S. Department of State and a Wharton Fellow by the University of Pennsylvania. Michael leveraged his educational attainment to secure positions in microcredit\, financial services\, and commodities in several multinational companies in India and Mainland\, China. Having spent nearly a decade as an expatriate in Asia\, he enjoyed bringing his entire set of experiences to his work and gained a true appreciation for multicultural leadership.\nMichael returned to the arts nonprofit world in an executive capacity\, leading several organizations including Portland Ballet in Maine\, Oregon Ballet Theatre\, and now ArtsFund. His background as a professional artist and a for-profit executive has allowed him to bring a unique perspective to his role in nonprofit leadership.\nMichael sits on the board of the Downtown Seattle Association\, Inspire WA\, Economic Development District Board of the Puget Sound Regional Council\, The Seattle Regional Chamber of Commerce\, and United Way of King County\nAs a married father of two\, when he is not promoting the benefits of arts and culture in our community\, Michael enjoys time with his family and exploring all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

In 1997-98 he was their President and performed as Secretary from 2011 to 2017. He has chaired/served on countless committees and received multiple awards including Kiwanian of the Year in 1997 and 2013.  \nMatt has also been involved with the Pacific Northwest District of Kiwanis International as Lt. Governor twice\, webmaster from 2011 to 2017 and as club counselor to 2 new and 4 old Kiwanis clubs. He has attended numerous Kiwanis conferences and conventions\, served on the Pacific Northwest District’s Centennial and Finance Committees as well as 4 times on the District Governor’s team.  \nIn addition\, Matt has been Board Director of the Pacific Northwest Kiwanis Foundation (2018-20) 20 and received their Distinguished Service Award in 2022. He previously served on the Kirkland Kiwanis Foundation Board. \nIn his work life\, Matt was an architect and is now retired.

He retired from active duty in 2007.   \nHe worked as an operations analyst from 2007 to 2011\, and then became the Assistant Director of the International Pacific Halibut Commission\, retiring from there in 2020.  \nSteve first came to the Northwest in 1979 with Navy.  He and his family have made Seattle their home since 2001.

He specializes in company and school culture\, sales and operations. We will discuss the largest fundraising event upcoming in October and what the funds we raise go towards.  \nAbout the Speaker\nJohnna Long is from Washington State and first joined the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) in 2017 while living in New York City. She continued her involvement after she moved back to the Seattle area and joined the Washington State Board of Directors. Most recently she spent time speaking to congress members advocating two separate bills being pushed by AFSP\, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and the Effective Suicide Screening and Assessment in the Emergency Department Act of 2021.

He became an entrepreneur following a 25-year career in banking with roles ranging from; Senior Vice President\, Commercial Banking Team Leader; Managing Director of Treasury Management and Payment Solutions\, to; Head of Retail Banking and Marketing. DESCRIPTION:Valeriy Goloborodko  – Honorary Consul \nUkraine\nToday Vaerij Goloborodko will discuss the conflict in Ukraine. He\, more than any of us\, is close to this conflict due to his heritage and roles in the local and American Ukrainian community. \nAbout the Speaker\nValeriy Goloborodko was born and raised in Ukraine. When he was 24 years old\, he married and moved to the United States to\nstart his family. Since his first day on American soil\, Valeriy has shown great interest in serving his community and\nbeing an active member of both the Ukrainian and American communities.\nValeriy is a board member of the American European Bethel Mission. He served as chairman and then as a board member of\nthe Friends of Ukraine organization. Valeriy founded Goel Payment Solutions\, a company that provides a full spectrum of\nelectronic payment transferring services and has functioned as its president and CEO since 2009.  He also started the Ukrainian Business Association\, to facilitate starting up relationships between American and Ukrainian businesses\, which has merged with Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce\, for which Valeriy served on the board.\nIn 2014 Valeriy was appointed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine as Honorary Consul of Ukraine. Consular post headed by Honorary Consul Valeriy Goloborodko has in its jurisdiction Washington and Oregon states. Since 2016 Valeriy serves as a board member of Slavic Department at University of Washington advisory board.\nIn 2016 Valeriy co-founded and started NW Ukrainian International Festival\, the biggest Ukrainian cultural event on the West coast of USA and Canada. Event is done by the Pacific Ukrainian Society\, a nonprofit organization co-founded by Valeriy Goloborodko along with pillars of Ukrainian community of Washington State\, that is focused on development and maintenance of strong and friendly relationships between Ukraine and USA\, including through promoting culture\, education\, economic relationships and freedom.\nValeriy holds a Master’s degree from Shevchenko University in Law and a Management Information Systems Bachelor’s degree\nfrom International Christian University. Valeriy lives in Bellevue with his wife and four children.

Del Giudice  – Executive Director\nLittle Bit Therapeutic Riding Center\nLittle Bit Therapeutic Riding Center has been providing therapeutic horseback riding for those with disabilities for over 46 years on the eastside\, impacting thousands of children and adult riders and patients. But why is riding a horse so therapeutic? Paula Del Giudice\, executive director of Little Bit\, will share her insights and some of Little Bit’s success stories with Bellevue Rotary. \nAbout the Speaker\nPaula J. Del Giudice of Sammamish\, WA\, has been the Executive Director of the Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center for just over five years. She has served as executive director or regional director for three other nonprofit organizations in the Seattle area since 2002. In addition\, she has served on the Board of Directors of several religious\, arts\, and environmental nonprofits starting in her early 20s. In 1999\, she was elected by representatives from throughout the country to serve as the first woman volunteer board chair in the National Wildlife Federation’s 63-year history.  \nPaula holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada\, Reno\, and a Master of Education degree from Regis University in Denver. She has two grown children\, two young grandchildren\, a very small dog whose name is Moo\, and a large golden retriever puppy named Birdie. In addition to her work with Little Bit\, she is President of the Rotary Club of Redmond. In her spare time\, she plays an adequate game of golf.
