We sent six judges to DECA this year to judge the Community Service Project prize. The BBRC sponsors this event with $2,000 which goes towards defraying the travel expenses of the winners. Six teams out of about twenty four will go on from the State competition to National

Local High School Projects
We asked DECA for these with the idea of picking a 'local' winner to invite to RYLA. In the end we chose Interlake for their Guatemalan Gift project because it seemed to show the most amount of initiative and was consistent with the BBRC objectives of Education. However our invite went out too late, and so they never took advantage of our offer.
